PARTICIPATION OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF MTA AND ACCOMPANYING DELEGATION IN THE GEOMINING 2023 INTERNATIONAL GEOLOGY AND MINING FORUM

On 26-27 October 2023, our institution participated in the GEOMINING 2023 International Geology and Mining Forum held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, during which our Director General Mr. Vedat YANIK gave a speech in the opening ceremony. From MTA, the Head of the Geophysical Studies Department Dr. Alper KIYAK, and Mining Engineer Selim ALTUN of the Feasibility Research Department made presentations. Our delegation also included Deputy Director General Haşim AĞRILI, Department Heads Yunus ŞAHİN and Hüseyin ASLAN. The Director General and the accompanying delegation held high-level meetings with Mr. Mukhtar BABAYEV, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, Mr. Hanlar MUSTAFAYEV, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Nakhchivan, and AZERGOLD officials.
