MTA SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITES WEEK WAS HELD BETWEEN THE DATES OF 07-11 MARCH 2022

"MTA Scientific Activities Week 2022" program that is organized with an aim to provide presentation and evaluation of the project activities of the year 2021 of our General Directorate, to ensure that the works are shared on a common platform with our technical staff and external participants, as well as providing most recent knowledge to researchers was held between 07-11 March 2022, with the attendance of our deputy Minister of Energy, Prof. Dr. Şeref KALAYCI,  director generals of various government institutions, managers and staff, heads of chambers, universities and representatives of private sector.

Addressing the attendees in opening, our Deputy Minister Prof. Dr. Şeref KALAYCI discussed the works carried out by the General Directorate of MTA in mineral exploration from air, land and sea parallel to the policies of our Ministry, and the importance of such scientific contributions to the economy of our country, extending his wish for Scientific Activities Week to be beneficial for our country and the mining industry.

Our Director General Mr. Vedat Yanık in his speech mentioned the activities of MTA in 2021, emphasizing the validity of the activities of MTA with a local and national mindset that produce scientific data in geology and mining are up to par with the commonly accepted standards in the world, extended his wish for the Scientific Activities Week that would last 5 days to result in great contributions to earth sciences.
