DIRECTOR GENERAL OF MTA MR. VEDAT YANIK ATTENDS “SUSTAINABLE MINING AND ENVIRONMENT WORKSHOP” HELD BETWEEN THE DATES OF 08-09 FEBRURARY

Sustainable Mining and Environment Workshop organized by the Architects and Engineers Group (MMG) under the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources was held in Ankara between the dates of 08-09 February 2022.

On the first day of the workshop, Director General of MTA Mr. Vedat YANIK has participated as a speaker in the session titled “Mineral Potential of our Country and Strategies of Use” moderated by Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Prof. Dr. Şeref KALAYCI.

Within the scope of the workshop, mineral potential of Türkiye, mining activities, demands and expectations of the industry and various other topics such as the activities in mining and its environmental impact and the revisions planned for the law of mining were discussed. Sessions were held in a friendly environment aiming to positively contribute to the mining industry.
