Prehistoria

In Prehistoric Period, which is the longest cultural phase of humanity, humans generally lived as nomadic hunter-gatherers. Most informative objects from that period are stone tools. These tools reflect their purposes, thoughts and skills of the toolmakers and briefly describe their culture.

Samples collected from various caves and centers from Anatolia are exhibited in the showcases. All of these samples belong to Prehistoric epoch that began 2 million years ago and ended 10 thousand years ago. In addition, imitations of rock drawings of Anatolia and copies of figurines of European Prehistoric art are exhibited in chronological order.
