OFFICIAL VISIT OF GENERAL DIRECTOR OF MTA TO AZERBAIJAN AND ALGERIA

General Director Mr. Vedat YANIK and Deputy General Director Mr. Haşim AĞRILI paid official visits to Azerbaijan and Algeria respectively.

They attended to Türkiye-Azerbaijan Business Forum held in Baku within the scope of the official visit to Azerbaijan between 4th and 5th November 2022 with the occasion of 10th Term Meeting of Türkiye Azerbaijan Inter-Governmental Joint Economic Commission (JEC) under the co-presidency of Deputy President of Republic of Türkiye Mr. Fuat OKTAY.

It is aimed to set up a substructure for mutual studies and projects between the equivalent institutions of Republic of Türkiye and Republic of Azerbaijan by signing Memoranda of Understanding and Letters of Goodwill involving SMEs and agricultural studies. 

In addition, a meeting between MTA and equivalent institutions is held to discuss studies to be carried out within the scope of previously signed Protocol.

Within the scope of Algerian Investment Conference 2022 AIC held between 9th and 10th November 2022, one-to-one meetings are held with National Agency of Mineral Activities of Algeria (ANAM) and Algerian Geological Survey Agency (ASGA) and mutual projects, especially training programs, are being discussed.
