The Opening Ceremony of “The Training Program of General Directorate of MTA on Petrophysics and Drilling for Chad Trainees” in Ankara, May 25, 2021.

As part of the training program to be held between May 24 and June 20, 2021 by the MTA General Directorate, 30 engineers from the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy of the Republic of Chad will be given petrophysics and drilling training.

Our General Manager, Assoc. Dr. Yasin ERDOĞAN, in his speech at the “The Training Program of General Directorate of MTA on Petrophysics and Drilling for Chad Trainees” held at Gürkent Hotel on June 25, 2021, stating "Every study of metallic mines, industrial and raw materials, which are strategically and critically important for Turkey, is carried out by the MTA”, shared his evaluations as "Our organization pioneers the formation of mining policies and strategies in our country, and with the knowledge it generates and the technical staff it has trained provides infrastructure services in Turkey's mining sector. In order to carry the knowledge and experience we have in the country to international platforms, the General Directorate of MTA has the authority to explore minerals for international projects. Our companies operating in Sudan, Uzbekistan and Niger are working extensively in the licenced areas we have acquired and contribute significantly to the development of bilateral relations between our countries. To share its knowledge and experience in the field of geoscience, the General Directorate of MTA has carried out and will continue to do theoretical and practical trainings for many participants from Central Asia, the Balkans and Africa with its fully competent technical staff who have total knowledge in their fields.” 

Chad Ankara Ambassador Mr. Adoum Dangai Nokour GUET, AK Party Ordu Parliement Member and President of Turkey-Chad Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Mr. Ergün Taşçı also attended the opening ceremony, expressing their gratitute to the General Directorate for their contribution to the training program.

The opening ceremony ended with wishes of goodwill by both countries.
