STUDIES ON GRAVITY AND MAGNETISM

Gravity studies are measurement and data processing studies that are conducted concurrently with seismic studies in order to produce anomaly maps based on density differences in the layers that make up the Earth's crust in order to investigate geological structures that may contain oil, natural gas, and mineral potential beneath the seabed.

Magnetic surveys are measurement and data processing studies conducted concurrently with seismic surveys in order to produce anomaly maps resulting from differences in magnetic permeability of the Earth's crust layers for the investigation of geological structures that may contain oil, natural gas, and mineral potential beneath the seabed.
